When we were in Ottawa almost a month ago, I got Van Halen's 5150 unintentionally. I had seen the record there, but was uncertain whether we had it already or not, so I didn't add it to my ever-increasing pile. As I looked through the CDs, Dad came over and put it on top of my stack and told me we were getting it. I was quite excited, as 5150 has all of the really good Sammy Hagar-era stuff. At the time, I was just excited to be getting the album with "Why Can't This Be Love" on it. Now, I listen to it as a healer.
'Healer' records are what I refer to as albums with songs I can sing along with on them. Van Halen is generally good, because I have the same vocal range as the two blondies. Plus, their lyrics are phenomenal.
