I published the final chapter of my vampire story this morning and sat around refreshing the page until 11:30. I was just waiting for reviews and trying to capture the moment where I hit 1000 hits:
That's a screenshot of the incredible moment. After it finally hit 1000, I went to have lunch. After lunch, I felt sort of aimless and lost because everyone was playing in the basement, and that sort of takes away from the record-listening experience. So I had a stupid idea, and started to act on it. (HINT: It involves Queen. You'll never guess.)
Once I started to get writer's block, I started texting CJ to see if she could come over. 30 minutes later, we're hanging out in my room. Just chatting about music and books and YouTube and David Bowie. She stayed for supper, and afterwards, we went to the basement, as per our tradition. We watched a few Bowie movie clips off YouTube, then listened to "Horse Latitudes" by The Doors. (You'll recall that song from Day 3) To finish it off, we watched clips from the Led Zeppelin DVD. We both appreciate Robert Plant's animal magnetism, so that's something we can bond over.
CJ's just the best, man!
