Day 197- Food Of Various Types

For a lazy glutton, such as myself, the tradition of Oktoberfest is a beautiful one. Since my entire extended family celebrates it, we always gather around at my great-aunt's house for a potluck. (Yes, I know it's September, but no one cares.)
There are two things I like about Oktoberfest. The first one is that people are divided into two groups: kids and adults. Since I don't have the mentality of a 'kid', and don't have the age of an 'adult', I fit into the limbo between the two. The adults don't care if I'm around, and the kids would rather I wasn't; so I get to slink into a basement corner and read. They have a couch in a dark corner where if you're at a certain angle, you can see people coming downstairs, but they can't see you. I really can hide down there. Today, I brought the second GOT book, my ipod and my laptop. I figured I might be able to get some writing done. I actually only worked in a huge plot twist, since there was no internet there.
The second thing is the food. Just for 'lunch', I had: chips, nachos and dip, celery, mushrooms, Oktoberfest sausages, mini-link sausages, meatballs, lasagna, a slice of cake, ice cream, a cookie, a cupcake and two brownies. AND IT WAS SOOOOO GOOD!
