Day 167- Writing For My Loyal Band Of Nerds (August 25)

On my second day in Saint-Saveur, a little town a few miles away from Montreal, we decided that a second day at the water park wasn't going to happen, so we went shopping instead. Shopping for sneakers. As a non-girly girl who didn't need sneakers, I just couldn't wait to be done. Clothes shopping is by far the most tedious activity I could partake in. Clothes today all follow the same generic, basic girl style. That's why I always look for clothes in thrift shops. They have different stuff that you'd never expect, but enough of my hipster rant.
After we finished the dreary shopping, we went for ribs for lunch, then back to the motel room. It was a really big room, so Melanie and I got our own room.
As there was very little else to do, I got out Jon's laptop and kept writing my vampire story. I ended up writing quite a few chapters and published two that night. I make it a policy to publish one chapter every night, so this was unheard of. I just wrote, and spun on the spinny chair and listened to Motley Crue's Theater Of Pain, because that was the only Crue album I had ever heard before, and wanted my Crue experience to come from vinyl first.
All in all, my loyal band of nerds left me a combined 9 reviews for the two chapters.
