So, today was the first day of the music festival, which my school takes part of every year. Today, we left during lunch and drove for almost an hour, getting increasingly nervous, because we all knew our second song wasn't quite ready. The biggest problem among the tenors was that we were too quiet. Go figure.
Today, it was the jazz band performing, tomorrow it's the beginner and intermediate bands.
The cool thing is, this performance doubles as our overnight trip, a tradition for the intermediate band; where we go somewhere, and we stay in a hotel and do all kinds of fun stuff. Last year, the mall we went shopping at was made up entirely out of a hockey gear store and girly clothing stores. I didn't really want to waste my hard-earned 40$ on a headband, so I didn't buy anything. When the groups re-congregated at the bus, it was agreed upon that we'd go to Best Buy. That's where I blew all my money. There was a bucket of movies, 10$ each, and beside it, seasons of TV shows, same price. I ended up buying Seinfeld seasons 5,6 and 9, and Dumb And Dumber. It was much more enjoyed than a pair of sunglasses would be.
Since tomorrow night, I won't have access to a computer or fast wi-fi, I might not post, so I'll give a song tonight:
