Day 21- Robert And Dentistry Is Still Better Than Gym Class

Read the next paragraph while imagining me doing a happy dance.
GOT MY BRACES OFF!!!!! THEY'VE BEEN ON FOR 3 YEARS, AND NOW THEY'RE OFF! IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED YESTERDAY, BUT I WAS TOO BUSHED TO TELL YOU ALL ABOUT IT!
Now that I've used my quota of Caps lock, the braces that have been in my face since grade 5 are now off, but my dentistry adventures are not complete yet.
My dentistry schedule:

  • Retainer worn 22/7 for two weeks. (22, 'cause I'm being literal towards how long I take to eat)
  • Correcting retainer worn for probably 14 months
  • Wisdom teeth out
Yesterday, while I was getting them off, I asked the people if I could change my appointment in the next town over from 2:15 to 9, therefore letting me skip one of the two classes with Mrs. Read and gym class. Even though I was traveling for 40 minutes to get two 500$ pieces of plastic that would prevent me from talking normally or using my teeth for anything, it was still better than gym.
Picture this: I'm driving for 40 minutes after sharing the car with a total **** (Alan) for 10 minutes. I'm in a sour mood because I was yelled at and because I really didn't want a retainer. (At all. I wanted to be done) So, how does one uplift their mood? Led Zeppelin, of course. If I had thought through my film choice, I would have brought Kissology Vol.3 (The one with the concert at The Palace Of Auburn Hills in 1992.) But, I knew Mom disapproves of swearing in movies, so I opted for a concert collection with a cleaner vocabulary. Once the movie started, she asked if I wanted to use the wireless headphones so that she could listen to her country music while I listened to Led Zeppelin. Minor regret in my failure to foresee this turn of events, but only minor; Robert is second-in-command.
Sure, I might have been going off to the place that's going to dominate my life for the next 14 months, but Robert was there, so, shrug.

While I'm writing this post, I'm watching KISS music videos in another tab. So, I'm watching the "Forever" video, and I'm wondering, Did they film the band in black-and-white, or does it seem that way because they're standing in the shade? It's like my own version of what color is the dress.
I need opinions. Please share your opinions. Here is the video:
