Day 71- Tuesday Deadlines Are For Wusses

I have a reputation of being crafty in both senses of the word. I alter cross-stitch patterns if I find they don't look right and I can crochet almost anything without a pattern. I was hired on Thursday to crochet a stuffed Typhlosion (Pokemon, for all you non-nerds) I told my client it'd be done by Tuesday. Yesterday, I said it was almost done. Today, I started.
It was a bit of a slow start, because Typhlosion's head is tipped back, so I had to make a 90-degree turn in crochet, no easy task, but I did it. (Give me extra credit, I also did it while making half of it in beige and the other half in blue.)
It actually only took 3 hours, if you only start counting when I stopped taking it apart. All I have to do is sew on the eyes. I even put in 56 different strands of yarn for fire on its back.
I had a rough day, so I deserve a slow clap.
*applause for Kat*
Thank you, thank you, you're too kind!
P.s. If I seem a bit nuttier than usual, it's because I watched The Shining alone. Like all Kubrick movies, it should not be watched alone. Cannot believe Jack Nicholson didn't even get a nomination for anything.
